5 x 5 1/2” x 13 Steel wheels

Post by busa200mph »

Hello and thank you for allowing me to join your forum.

My friends and I are Ford fans from many years ago and have had years of fun tinkering with them. Friends of mine have transplanted a Lotus Twin Cam into an old Ford Popular 100E and an Anglia 105E amongst other things along with Brakes and Suspension mods.

One of these friends is having a clear out and has come across 5 of 5 1/2 x 13 steel wheels that he bought for a project. He bought these new from a local Ford dealer and has never used them, never even had a tyre fitted. Obviously the boxes haven’t lasted the years but the wheels are still in a great condition and totally original. They don’t however have the chrome hub caps. He has photos of them but I’m not sure I can upload them, but as long as this post is allowed I’m sure if you point me in the right direction I will be able to post them up.

Hopefully these will be of benefit to someone here.

Many thanks to you all for keeping the legends alive.

It's not often you get to it first though Bruce - keep 'em peeled as Shaw Taylor once said.
