Hi every one i was a member back in the 80,s how is the register going how many members these days and yes i still have the cortina it does need restoring now it is on my job list just thought i would have a look around i do need some suspension top mounts been looking at auto jumbles can't believe they have dried up i did find a pair but at £150 i left them there. i haven't run the car for 15 years better get around to it it must be a nightmare now with all the NEW lotus cortinas about prob more than were made.

I was also a member in the early 80 s, whereabouts are you and are you likely to get to any events next year?
I suspect you might need more than just top mounts though! Post a pic of your car with the reg No and Rick will no doubt come up with some history of it.

The car has been known since the 80's to the register i know all the history and yes you are correct it does need some welding now on the out riggers and the front wings are a little scabby.
I bought some club wings back when they were available good investment i think.
