Mk Lotus Cortina Dipstick Tube Height

Could someone confirm the correct dipstick tube height for a Mk2 Lotus Cortina - i.e. the vertical height between the engine sump flange and the top of the dipstick tube. The Elan boys seem to quote three numbers (following a Google search) - Mk1 4.1in, Mk2 4.5in and also found a reference to Ford fitments of the TC engine being 4.9". As I'm not sure whether the Elan sump is the same as the Lotus Cortina Mk2, I'm wondering what the correct distance should be.
