Who made this decision then ?

Why not just move it to Dover and make it even more inaccesible to any one with a car north of Watford !!!!!

Bandit country Keith,- tread carefully!!
They probably won't let you through the toll booths anyway and escort you back to the Essex side!

I've been trying to find members with some interest in meeting in the 'North'. So far, no interest. Now is your chance, get in touch and lets arrange something. Tatton Park in Cheshire is a great event with over 2000 classic cars, dozens of club stands and a huge auto jumble.

Show willing now or forever hold your peace!

Andy told me about this new venue for the National Day and I thought it sounded great. A fresh new look in a new place, and with evening entertainment too (which incidentally sounds like a blast). I'm really gutted now cos we're away that weekend so can't make it :(

Anton, for a long time I was the only LC on the road in the Midlands (or the only person wanting to do shows) so I travelled south, knowing only 1 person reasonably well and the rest hardly at all. They've been my bestest friends in the Club for years and still are despite the fact I haven't had a car for over 12 months now.

So saddle up, get out there and enjoy. It's worth it!! x

Hi Gary

When is the Tatton car show this year I went last year and it was a great day out and only half an hour away for me.
Gutted about the national this year, don't think I'll be attending the national this year surrey too far for one day.

Post by RONV »

Hi,it has to be south of the M25, as for shows north of the M25 I am going to Ripon Race Cource 1st May, Newby Hall 17th July in a LOTUS, Tatton Park 5th June MK1 Crayford. Laon Historique 26th May to 1st June in a MK1 Crayford and Angouleme Circuit des Remparts 13th Sept to 24 Sept to watch classic racing in a MK1 crayford. If you buy a Morgans Yearbook all the shows for lots of shows north of the M25. Two of my car were on the site with GOLOTUS on the Cortina run at the race tracks.Ron.

I'd be keen on a Tatton Park show. Easily accessible and a great autojumble. And if the ladies want something better to do, the house and gardens are superb (National Trust).
