Stoneleigh Town & Country Festival

Post by Scott Simpson »

Hi All,
I've recieved a note from the organisers of the old and now defunct Town & Country festival, to say that they're relaunching an alternative show.
Basically this all new show is going to be a carbon copy of the old show, but with a snazzy new title. A title that I can't remember! It's at Stoneleigh Park, held over the August bank holiday weekend and should be the usual drunken affair! All L/C's welcome. Who's up for it?

Hi Kryss,
Is the honeymoon over already?!
I've sent all the forms off yesterday and have been busy drumming up interest whenever I've bumped into another L/C and its owner. I've heard from most of the regular attendees, like Derrick Penson, Pete Shinton and Pete Dunn who are all up for the show. It's only the Bristol contingent who aren't going, as they're off to a show in Hampshire.
I'll work on them a bit more at the Mk1 Cortina owners club national weekend in a few weeks!
As soon as I get the passes, I'll post them out.

Hi Scott
Yep, back to reality now! Something made me think Pete Dunn'd sold his car - glad to hear I was obviously wrong. Sorry to hear Bristol contingent not going to be there - maybe next year...

Just recieved the passes for Stonleigh and will be sending them out over the next few days.
I've still got a few spare passes, so if anyone else fancies bringing their L/C along for a day, or two, or three over the Bank Holiday weekend, contact me ASAP. There should be about a dozen L/C's
on the stand, but theres always a warm welcome and plenty of space for anyone else.
How about it Seedy? You're not too far away from Stoneleigh Park.
