Steve, a bit of lateral thinking. If your wife is anything like mine, the sharp intake of breath everytime you suggest you might like to buy, for instance, a spare torpedo prop shaft at the autojumble, will actually cause you to save money you would otherwise have spent and you will earn brownie points as a bonus.

A big thank you to everyone who attended this event yesterday, the sun was shining all day a varied selection of cars with a fly past of a wwll lancaster, Steve B you can add another two to the total of LCs attending as there were a couple late comers.

It was a great turn out at a nice location (not just because it was on my doorstep!!)

My misses nearly had a heart attack when she saw pictures of my 2.5 year old catapolted 30ft in the air on the bungee. He loved it.

My first lotus cortina register day out and what a day ,great to see so many cars in one location and of course the flying 2.5 year old made me smile

This was a great day out. No judging, no prizes, no pressure - just a great opportunity to give the car a good run out, be in good company and have lively conversation. It was good to see such a good turn-out on the Sunday and to meet up again with a few old faces and meet one or two new ones. Nice one Rick. Thanks for making arrangements for LCR members and others to join in this event - roll on next year! (just a minute!! - is that Rick's scooter with a personal plate in the foreground)?

You won't catch me on a Vespa, Lambretta is the way to go.
