Does anyone know what the minimum thickness should be for Mk1 front discs?
I can find info on max runout but nothing for thicknesses.
Thanks
Tom

Re: Front brake discs
Would depend if it's got P14 or P16 brakes. P16 disc thicker. My 1960s copy of the Girling brake service manual, which covers the lotus cortina, quotes that the maximum that can be machined off the disc thickness is 1.2mm (50 thou), half of which has to be removed evenly from both sides of the disc.
