I've spoken to Leo and he told me at the time of its
'stay' at Geoghegans at Haberfield he was pretty tied up with their operation at Liverpool, so he can't recall it at all.
Then I spoke to Reg Papps who was the Geoghegan's manager for 8 years starting around the time of EEP 444's appearance there but sadly he doesn't recall its presence either.

Re: EEP 444
EEP 444 still exists and was at the 2017 Cortina Nationals in Albury NSW.
No longer in Maroon paint ... now been repainted in traditional white and green livery.
Currently resides in Melbourne and I was amused to see a decal on the drivers door
'' Jim Clark may have walked past this car''
The owner also in keeping with it's past history made sure that a speck of maroon paint is still
visible on the hinge of the front R/H quarter light window.
