Need a flywheel to fit a 6-bolt Kent crankshaft.
Must be compatible with an 8.5" clutch, and have a 110-tooth ring gear.
Steel or iron.
Anybody got something like that laying around?

Due to the weight / cost of shipping you'd be better off sourcing one in the USA - have you tried Dave Bean?

The flywheel is actually going in a Morgan 4/4 for which Morgan Spares (aka Morgan Motors of New England) is supplying a 5-speed (T9) conversion kit. The kit contains an alloy bell housing that will permit the use of an 8.5" clutch, which I consider a great advantage over the Kent 7.5".
Steve (another Steve) at Morgan Spares has been working on this but has been unable to source anything in the US. I assumed he checked Dave Bean, but perhaps not; I'll double-check with him Monday.
There are several sources for Formula Ford parts over here (Dave Bean being only one) but FF cars are restricted to the smaller 7.5" clutch so none can supply anything larger. Steve advised me that the 8.5" clutch was standard on the Lotus Cortina (mkI, mkII?) which is why I'm trying here. Thought someone may have upgraded to an alloy flywheel and may be interested in selling their old iron one.
I agree that shipping costs will be high, but I would like the larger clutch, so it's worth it to me if I can't find anything closer to home. Morgan Spares did locate a rebuilt clutch in the UK for $450, and I'd have shipping and duty on top of that. Hoping to do a bit better here!

If you are after new - These guys in the UK have what you need. Make sure you pay the ex-vat (tax) price as it will be being exported. I'm sure they have experience with shipping oversea's.

I've bought a cam kit, pistons, valves and other parts from Burton. They are very easy to deal with and ship promptly. The last order from them was placed on a Thursday and arrived here on the US East coast Saturday night!

(this flywheel is listed for the Twin Cam and BDA, but should also fit an xflow, together with the 8.5" clutch).
Burton should be able to help with the clutch as well.

...and yes, I have seen the 5-speed conversion info you referenced.
I already have the transmission itself and most of the bits. Just need to get this flywheel/clutch issue sorted out.
