NEC 14 15 16 November Classic Motor Show

Post by H Cortina »

Don't forget the LCR will have it's first stand at this major show for several years.

It would be nice to see some members take advantage of the ticket offer and come and support those of us manning the stand. Plus you will get to see a marvellous show of cars and motorbilkes.

Ticket offer details in last QB.

Lessons learnt:
1 Friday is the quietest day, Saturday is heaving.
2 Car parking and queues can be an issue. Consider the train even if only for the last leg of your journey.

Hi All,
I have just booked my flights to go to the show on the Friday which cost a small fortune but it saves me the 6 hour drive from Scotland, so will maybe see some of you there!
I was wanting to check what time the show opens on the Friday and is there no discount for the Friday ticket?

Opens 10am Friday and correct they don't discount the Friday tickets (for some unknown reason).

Make sure you come and find us in Hall 18 stand 750.

Quite busy Friday - just got back after a long day of motorwaying - jumble was poor as before but the standard of cars was excellent this year. :D

What a great day out. I thought it was a much better show than last year. Very good standard of cars. I was amazed at the amount of cars for sale with most of them being sold ?
Good to see some familiar faces and have a good chat.

Braved the crowds of Saturday, totally agree about the standard of cars on show. Really good to say hello and put some faces to the names so often seen on this forum as this was my first introduction to anybody in the LCR. Thanks for your thoughts and views.

Not sure why the right hand edge has been cut off of them though?

Well that was an amzing weekend. Sooooo tiring you would not believe but worth every minute. As others have said the standard of cars on all stands was very high.

Thanks Graham for the, as usual, excellent photographs. Not easy to take them as we had crowds around the stand on all 3 days.

The stand was very popular and i am confident of some new members signing up.

Report to follow by me in next QB but would appreciate any small submissions by members who attended to give an unbias view. Articles to Geoff please.
