Does that include all the race cars? Well done for pulling this altogether Simon. Its very much appriciated.

Thanks Steve. There should be a few race cars on the stand but generally the race cars will be in addition to those we already have booked in. By the way Andy & Julie Morrell have also had a lot of input into the weekend celebrations so they also deserve a lot of credit. Let's just hope it stays dry for the weekend!

Further information for exhibitors and spectators has just been published on the Lotus Festival website. Link here:

http://www.lotus-festival.com/faq/

Anyone wishing to take part in the Parade lap does NOT need to register first so that should make it a lot easier. Passengers must be over 14 years of age.

Well, we went camping for a week in my car in 76 or 77, but have loads more stuff now!
Is everyone fitting it all into their LC?
I have a box in the boot with tools, spares & cleaning stuff,- it will be tight!

Hi All,

Well its here!

Finally after 2 years of planning, worrying, cajoling and hoping I have to say most of it is in place, so there should be no reason not to have a fantastic weekend. Now if all that have promised to turn up, turn up we should have a great show of these superb cars.

I have heard, like you, about the weather but to be honest if it does rain Saturday it won't do your car any harm as it got wet before you bought it anyway!

See you there and if I don't get time for a chat please forgive me its just I will be a tad busy.

Lets all have a great weekend see you there!

Andy M

PS Just to let you know If anything goes wrong its not my fault!!!! :)

Spare Tickets

Post by Andy M »

Hi All,

Unfortunately I have had 3 tickets returned to me so if there is anyone coming with a car that has not managed to get tickets. I will bring them along with me tomorrow so give me a ring and I will get them to the gate for you. It will be first come first served I am afraid.
