Without wanting to spoil Andy's hard work in arranging i like Neil's idea for those of us South of the M25 to meet at say Thurrock Services and just do the Dunton and Dagenham sections.

Is this possible without messing things up?

Lunch

Post by Andy M »

Hi Keith,
As its just around the corner from you could you do a bit of organising on my behalf this will save me doing a reccy?

As time will be limited I suggest that we have a light lunch and maybe order before we get there. Do you think that the management will allow us to pre order? If so this will speed everything up and a published menu on the forum would be good.
let me know what you think!

They normally want paying in advance for pre-booked food & they will need a hard time to serve it, so that will be a challenge too far I suggest. We may need to rethink the venue - KFC nearby?

Hi Keith,

KFC or the like is fine by me as time will be the essence! Not to sure of their parking in a drive through though.
Think the Halfway House would be a better bet do they do Bar Snacks such as Sandwiches or Soup in a basket??

Revised List:-

Keith Halstead(with own pass)
Mike Watson
Wayne Wheeler
Howard Law
Neil Webb
Simon Saward
Len Guy
Kelly Morrell
Andy Morrell

Anyone else who wishes to come along with their Cortina?

I reckon we should use Thurrock Services area then as the car park is large and we can get sandwiches etc quickly plus it's en-route to Dagenham.
