Battlesbrige show 30th September

Post by Keith Halstead »

Just a reminder that there is a show next Sunday 30th September at Battlesbridge, on the A130 near Rettendon starts 10:00.

Phil (FFA) and I will be there if anyone wants to join us.

It's a general classic car show & jumble - all marques this time, not just Fords.

Are you doing this instead of the Wed evening pub meet?

What a good turn out

Good weather and some real nice cars.
Never seen the place so busy.

Brilliant turnout - I would say attendance was at least 300% up on previous years - great weather, atmosphere, jumble and cars - ideal wrap up to the season.

Curly, Phil and I were showing but no others that I saw on the LC front, but plenty of other Mk1/2 Cortinas.

A mate of mine found an interesting brochure for a Lumo Cortina based on the 1600E with a twin cam fitted - anyone ever seen one?

That's it for 2007 - thanks for supporting the shows and hope to see you all next year.
