DVLA shows date of liability as 01/08/1987, so thats when it was last taxed.

Its a mk1 with a FM build code giving it a July 66 build.

Hello STully i see you are looking for info on HAA 595E, well i owned it from 1987 untill about 1989 when i sold it to a chap who came from the Medway towns in Kent. I waxoiled every little nook and cranny of it and according to DVLA records it is still being used today. I was'nt a lover of the MK1 Lotus Cortina and much prefered my MK1 Cortina and MK2 Cortina GT.

Forgot to say that i was the chap who owned the car in Ashford. Also looking at my old Club membership card i see i have my dates wrong as the date on it is expiry 30th June 1984 so i must have had the car from around 1982/3 to 1983/4. Sorry about that. Would love a photo if you have one as i did'nt take any.
