Essex Pub Meet - 30th May - The Lodge - NEAR Battlesbridge

Unfortunately the Barge is being refurbished so we have to relocate to a new pub this month - I suggest we use the Lodge which is situated about 1 mile from the Barge.

Go to the Rettendon Turnpike roundabout (junction of A130/A132) just up the hill from the Barge.

Take the A132 to S.Woodham Ferrers & the Lodge has a private access road first turning on the left as you go down the hill about half a mile or so. It has a formal left hand T junction sign and a sign for the Pub.

Any takers?

I will be there. I will take a map, compass & packed lunch just in case I get lost.
I will set off at about 3.00 pm to give me enough time to find it?

I think we may as well give it a miss this month owing to poor attendance, the pub being refurb'd & and the crap weather - let's try again in June
