IF it was originally gold then i would be tempted to paint it gold.it would be a great talking point when you take it too shows and meets etc and a unique car.good luck with the resto and look forward to seeing it finished gold or white!
its gonna be gold,well actually malibu gold is a sort of goldy/silvery colour when i first bought cnd i managed to get a mk1 airfix kit then had a can of malibu gold mixed and painted it to see wot it looked like on a mk1.mad or wot if i posted that on anything other than a classic car sight they all would have wanted me locked up
This is what the LCR is all about, what a great story !! would love to see a gold lc in an all white line up of cars. How many people would tell the owner that it should be white and not gold.
