Race to Road

Post by Cljxc50 »

Hi,
im looking for some advice please, im in the market to buy a mk1 LC for mainly road use, but there seems to be very few on the market at the moment.
i have however seen a few race cars advertised that would make great projects, my question is can a race car be registered for road use? and what would be involved?
thanks for any advise....

Do you want a genuine Lotus or a fake as there's a big difference in price?

In that case get it checked out by the club prior to parting with money as there will be lots of fakes purporting to be original cars.

I have a project that I have left too late and will never do! Its a big project, bare shell (genuine) and most parts.
If of interest, I can supply more details.
