2 days ago we lost one of the great
touring car drivers in Australia.
Jim McKeown was a member of the
Neptune Racing Team or also known as Trident team(Neptune was a division of Shell).
The team consisted of a Ford Mustang, Lotus Cortina, Morris Cooper S.
Jim campaigned the Cortina with great success and the car was reputed at one stage to be the fastest in the world.
He went on to drive a Mark 2 later which was also an amazing car.
