Post by TimB »

Will people be going to the West London meet next Wednsaday the 20th? I know some just turn up on the day but with it being so near Xmas it would be good to know if others will be there. Thanks.

West london meet

Post by Andy M »

Hi all,
I will be there.
It has been suggested that our other halves might like to join us for some company or a meal, as it might be the only time they see us over Christmas as we are usually tinkering in the Garage with the Lotii? However as I have now laid this on 3 previous years and have had little or no response I will take a backward step and let someone else organise it if required or we can just let it pass us by again!!
Any takers?

I've got no problem with that, it's just a matter of getting replies from any likely to attend before Wednesday. Would we still do a meal if all the 'partners' do not come? So did it happen previous years?
Any West London meeters want to post an opinion?

You wouldn't want my wife there - she'd put you off your food :D

I'm happy to have a bite to eat , but would struggle to get there before 8.30 - 9.00.

Excel is in SE London, Windsor is NW of London but you can access round the M25 clockwise probably about 40 mls, public transport links will be difficult.
Not sure if my Mrs will be there but like Steve happy to eat. How about some definite yes replies, I'm happy to book table it's only a phone call away.
Tally so far - Steve, me, Rick, Andy (2), south london contingent 5?
Any other takers?

Rob, It's at the Toby Carvery Pub in Old Windsor, J6 off M4, or J13 off M25, on the A308.
Others, if we are going to eat then post on here please to save doing loads of emails or private messages. I'm happy to book a table if I get some YES replies.

Dear all, I've tried to book a table and the restaurant is fully booked. Full menu is available in the bar area with no booking required. So unless someone has already booked a table that is the eating option. Sounds like those who want to eat can in the bar, those who don't can just drink.
See you there.
