Replacing panels, Mk2 Lotus Cotina

Hello,
Firstly hope everyone is safe and keeping well.
I am replacing both rear panel and rear o/s quarter panel on Mk2, is there a preferred method for this?
Would it be best to do rear panel first then match up quarter panel or visa versa. Or, take both off
and work back to allow for adjustment?
Any help, suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
