Hi Anton, just fitted a set of superflex bushes to mine, the large bush comes in two parts and is an easy push fit, the smaller one is one piece bush and a real fiddle to fit but I would imagine no harder to fit than standard rubber type. I had a full set of poly bushes on a previous car and they do tighten up the handling due too the firmer characteristics. The superflex are quite expensive but you do get what you pay for in my experience. The mk1 owners club do sets but never tried these myself ??? They also do the smaller bush (witch is the same as the inner T.C.A bush) in two parts so should be an easier fit.

Are you sure you want to firm things up? If it's a race car then yes, but on a road car?
Don't forget those extra stresses and vibrations have to go somewhere if not absorbed by a rubber bush, the poly ones are that much firmer.
I used standard (A frame) ones from the Mk1 club and they fitted fine. The one I took out really were the originals that the car left the factory with and while a bit manky on the outside were surprisingly good on the inside.

I dont want to go down the poly bush route but Rubber type are a bit thin on the ground, cant find larger rears anywhere..

Not really the same thing but when I bought Sharon's Range Rover around 6 - 7 years ago it used to clonk and bang terrible underneath and lean over round corners (Sometimes frightening)
I replaced every bush with Superflex type that were expensive at the time. It was a totally different car. No more clonking and you could through it round corners with no worry of it tipping over. Ride was very hard though but we got use to it

He recently bought the tooling & I think he's remaking them.

Had the fronts from Dale last week, we had that exact conversation and he would not commit to manufacture, perhaps not enough demand yet.
