Steering box
Does anyone have a steering box for a Mk1 Lotus Cortina or know where I can get one? Unfortunately we smashed the one on KUC964D doing the RAC Rally of the Tests on Saturday. We need the housing as well as the internal parts. Thanks in advance. Ben Morgan

Re: Steering box
I have a 'standard' (non Lotus) Cortina box which would get you mobile again and you might be able to use the housing when you locate the correct internals.

Re: Steering box
A standard one would do. You only need to machine a hole to fit the handbrake pivot. If you are not using the factory handbrake (which I doubt you would be) then it will be fine.

Dear Ray 8829, thank you for responding with the offer of the steering box. If you would send me an e mail with your telephone number I’ll call you to work out the details. My e mail address is Benedict.morgan@yahoo.co.uk.
