Hi Steve, my first National was the 2nd one which was May 24th 1987 At Ashton Court Bristol, 3rd was Ashton Court again(25 year Anniversary)29th May 1988, 4th was Longleat House in Wiltshire 25th June 1989, 5th was again Longleat House 3rd June 1990, and the 6th was also Longleat house 9th June 1991. I have attendance plaques for all of those but then my Car was taken off the road. Hopefully some time next year fingers crossed it will be back on the road again
. Itβs only been 27 years

Wouldn't the 2000 National day have been Coombe Abbey near Coventry? I think it was there, in conjuction with the mk1 cortina owners club, for a few years around the millenium.

My 1st National Iβm sure was 09
We got stopped and nicked for speeding on route from hotel to Gaydon Arms
Then had far to much to drink and ended up leaving HNO in pub car park and a few of us got a lift back to hotel by a very nice barmaid in a Morris minor traveller ?

I think that 2000 should be 2001, the edition of Quarter bumper is dated Spring 2000 on the cover, but refers to the 2001 National Day inside.
Yes Steve I've found the Autumn 2000 edition of Quarterbumper, so
2000 Coombe Abbey
2001 Heritage Motor Centre Gaydon 24 June
