Does the club have any info on the Lotus Festival? I've heard it could be at Hethel on 29th September to coinside with the Lotus 70 year anniversary.

If it is I might break with tradition & drive through Essex!

That's all in the Wickford area though,- distorts the figures for the county as a whole!

It's here

Bring your Lotus & we'll provide you with a free ticket etc. etc. I'm a member of three different Lotus clubs & it seems no one knew anything about it!

At least I won't have to do the Dartford crossing.

Is anyone going? Does anyone know anyone who's going?

Received this but only day before yesterday:

www.lotus70.com

On behalf of Group Lotus, we'd like to invite you and your members to the Lotus 70th Anniversary Party to be held at the Lotus Factory on Saturday the 29th September 2018.

Clubs are welcome to display a selection of members cars (20) and will be provided with a number of free tickets (40) per club.

You will be provided with a marquee at the event and are welcome to bring your own club signage.

With 7,000 Lotus owners and enthusiasts due on the day this is an excellent chance to have a great event for your members and showcase your club to a great audience.

You will be able to set up on site from 2pm on Friday 28th September, however the site must be vacated by 8pm. Clubs will be able to access their stands from 8am on the day, the event will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Please let me know by return if you can attend with a postal address for tickets and if you have any questions that can be answered.

Kind regards

Bibs

Do we apply directly to Bibs for tickets or do you send off numbers to him when you have heard who wishes to attend.
Thanks Dave

It seems all Lotus clubs have now been informed & are being offered generous amounts of tickets.

Should have kept me mouth shut!
