Hello Everyone

I have recently purchased AEG at auction and I know it is well know to people on this forum.

My dilemma is that the car came with no paperwork and I beleive a car like this deserves as much history with it as possible.

The paintwork isnt perfect and to do it justice it will require a new paint job, apart from that it is really solid.

I am extremely happy with AEG and look forward to being an active member on LCR and maybe come to some meets in the future.

Brian

Welcome Brian - that took us all by surprise as nobody realised it was even being sold..... it's a lovely car that.

Where are you in the UK?

Hi Brian,
Well Ive got to say the car looks stunning in the pictures. It really sits well. Shame you don't have the history with the car but as its so well known hopefully it can be recovered.
Ive always wanted an original special equipment model and once came close to something even more rare but at the time of negotiation I found myself in hospital full of drugs after major back surgery.
It seems us lovers of Lotus Cortinas always have a story about the one.... or two that got away.
Good luck with yours mate.. enjoy
Regards, Ian

Great bit of footage. If only we could still get the cars for the prices they mention at the end.
