Am in the process of fitting the original 2-piece overhauled driveshaft back into my '67 car here in New Zealand after many decades out, but the manuals do not specify how much grease to use in the assembly of the centre splined grease chamber. Obviously there must be sufficient but not too much to compromise balance maybe? I guessing that filling the chamber and allowing excess grease to escape past the felt is not adviseable?
Any advice welcomed, cheers.
