I've got chance to buy the car, but she needs quite a bit of work doing to her.
She currently wears no ID tags though, so how can I go about geting the replacement tags & how can I find out the build information too so I can have the tags made to the correct specification ?
Any help will doo !

Hi Sean,
Have you bought this car yet, or still looking?
Best to get in touch with Andy or Rick for the LCR history on this car, and then talk about build plates etc. in the members only section.
Cheers

Louis,
At this moment I'm just trying to confirm the car's authenticity before making a more serious offer.
The current owner was not supplied with the V5 nor the VIN tags.
How do we get in to the member's only section ? - is it cough up time ?
I did Email Rick last week regarding Jan to Jan subscriptions, but I have not heard anything as of yet.
Cheers,
Sean

Once you are a fully paid up member you get access to the members only section. Just let either Louis or myself know once you have joined. Rick is the right guy to be in contact with regarding membership

My son bought this From a guy in Honiley, nr Kenilworth, Warwick in about 2000. Had been stoocd for a number of years. Sold it as he bought it to a guy in Lincolnshire in 2001. It looked then pretty much the same as the pictures show it now. The car is genuine & had the chassis plate & tags on when sold.

Shows up on DVLA website as unlicensed, DOL, 1986 which would be about right.

This car has just turned up on ebay, or should I say the registration number has with a story about it being reshelled sometime in its life. I would say in the last 2 years & if as stated a lotus shell was used, why was it necessary to change the registration number from the old shell to the 'genuine' one.. A little suspicious???
