Differential For Sale

Post by emiw »

I hope this isn't against the open LC forum rules!
I have an Ford open differential with a 3.9 ratio for sale. I removed it from my S3 Elan in March. It is in good working order, but unknown mileage. However it has done 8k trouble free miles in my Elan over the last 3 years, only replaced with a longer ratio for more relaxed cruise rpm.
No unusual noises, clonks, whine or oil leak from the nose seal.
Does not include a Ford axle casing or Elan diff carrier, but a choice of 2 diff flanges to suit your prop-shaft.
Located in North Wales, collection or purchaser will need to arrange a courier. I can help with delivery to Manchester or West Midlands.
£250 ono.
Please email me malcolmhickey at compuserve dot com
Thanks

Old thread resurrection!
This 3.9 open diff is still taking up storage space in my workshop. Any interest?

I have added it to my Facebook group for Mk1 Cortinas - you should get more buyers there.
