Tyres

Post by Porousblock »

Could members please advise on the most suitable tyres for the L/C now? Back in the 1970's I ran on 185/70x13 which performed much better than the original 165x13's. I have a set of wheels fitted with 185/60x13 but they do not look quite right with such small tyres!
Some cars have been fitted with 15" diameter wheels but I prefer to stick to 13". I see that you can get 195 and 205 section tyres now in 13" diameter but I guess that you would need power steering........!
What do you use? Cheers, Cliff.
