Brooklands Double 12 on 17th & 18th June 2017

Brooklands Museum Double 12 Motorsport Festival 17th & 18th June 2017.

Saturday they will be officially opening the newly refurbished finishing straight and celebrating the 110th anniversary of the opening of the circuit. There will be a calvacade of genuine Brooklands cars.

On the Sunday there will be a concourse competition and driving event, both of which we can enter. Joint event organiser Kate Horne will be competing against her father in the driving event.

Can I have a gauge of interest in the club having a stand for either or both days please.

This event has been well supported for the last few years by a small group of local members. I know that some of those members do not visit the forum so will not be aware of what (or what's not) happening. It was our intention to book our stand for this years event as before but, presumably, it is being organised this year by the committee?

I know the usuals are keen to do it again so can we have an update on arrangements please.

Ok I've asked for a stand for 6 cars on each day, but can change if anyone thinks that's incorrect.

I'll be there as it's an event I've never attended and my co' events organiser colleague, Kate, will be competing over the weekend against her father in the trials.

Hi Howard, I will be attending this show and staying locally from Friday night. Would be happy to assist the register in any way I can for the Saturday and Sunday.

I've not been to this before but it seems to be highly regarded so would like to attend one day,- but which?

Sunday is really the main day Pete with more people to admire your car but really nothing to choose between the two.

Ok, i have form to complete which I will do at weekend.

Form completed. I've gambled to a small degree and said 5 cars each day, although we only have technically:

Saturday
H Cortina Dave B Cockney and Phil = 4

Sunday
H Cortina Dave B Cockney and Pete G = 4

So space for an extra one each day but I would need to know in advance to send off ticket as we get 5 complimentary tickets.
