1965 Lotus Cortina woodrim steering wheel.

In 1965 I bought this wheel from Cheshunt when Lotus were there and fitted it to three consecutive GT Cortinas. It has hung on my study wall for years and really ought to go into a Lotus. I wish to sell it and I understand the going rate for an original wheel is £1,000. Please call 01276 65823. Simon Brown.

Do you have a pic as many people sell what's purported to be Lotus Cortina wheels and they end up being Elan, Avanti, Les Leston & all sorts.

It was always my dream to own a Mk1 LC and I achieved it .However the crazy price of parts took away much of the joy of ownership .Sadly now sold the car and gone to a Porsche 997 which is a bit different- but a lot of fun and cheaper to run !
