Hi all a friend at work had this LC in the seventies and sold it decades ago. He showed me some old pics of it today. He loved that car and the DVLA says it's got an MOT until June 2017. He was so chuffed it's still around. Anyone got any info so I can pass it on. ?
Regards
Simon

It's been fully nut & bolt restored and owned by a member on here - it was at the NEC last month.

Oh wow he will be so pleased. Funny as I went to that but didn't know his Reg then , doh! Thanks for the reply though . I saw a pic of it in the seventies and it had a front spoiler on it as was the fashion. I will send you the pic if you like. Have you had this car long?

Yes love to have the pic email to keith@khalstead.wanadoo.co.uk - a friend of mine owns it after rescuing it from a garden where it sat since the 70's - it still had the spoiler on it then.

No way! This is so exciting and it's not even my car! That's what I like about classic cars. It also had a tow bar as Kevin used to tow his trials bike with it.

Hi there I saw some more pics on passion Ford site. Kevin got hold of it in 1974 when a bloke he knew wanted to swap it for kevs Austin 1100 as the Austin was in better condition and I think he said he had a date with a girl and needed a nice car to impress her. Crazy when you think about it. Kev said he stuck a unipart sticker over the crack in the dash, was that still there? He cracked it because the tachometer used to intermittently stop working so he used to thump the dash and it would work again! He sold it to a guy in Bentley Hampshire. Is that where you got it from? Any mention of it on logbook?
