Hi Gary, according to the Dvla website the last road tax ran out on the 01/03/1983, so it's either long gone or it's tucked away in a garage somewhere.
But the engine cc is stated as 1500cc and a L/C should be 1558cc, so either it's a mistake by Dvla or it was not a genuine L/C. I am sure some of the guys on the site will be able to confirm if it was a genuine car or not.

Hi Niki

I also looked on the dvla website and noticed that but I am quite sure that it was an original car. The last thing I remember was that it was on a dealer forecourt somewhere on the A37 between Bristol and Weston Super Mare. I seem to remember that it suffered quite a lot of damage along with some of the other cars there from travelling football supporters from where I do not remember. They were leaving a Bristol City football match !!
This was early 1980s, perhaps the car was damaged behond repair.

Regards

Gary
