Speaking to a local lady today at Battlesbridge who said she had a mk1 when she was 18, reg no LLE 127D and also another mk1 later but could only remember part of the reg HXD--C ?
I said that I would post the reg numbers on here for her and let her know if they survived ,

Could HXD be Dave Baldock's car? I seem to recall there was another car with an HXD registration number brought over from Ireland for the National Day. I will try to trace the full number.

Not mine. Not many 18 year old birds (as we used to call them) drove around in LC's. Did she mean she had a standard car?

The good thing about older women is that they've learnt not to expect too much.
