going back to silver has always been the plan, i did have a moment when i thought about white without the stripe, not meaning to upset anyone but personally i dont think the stripe suits the mk2, but saying that i recently saw an anchor blue car and thought it looked better with a silver stripe. definetly no stripe for me.

Yep, black wheels look great on a silverfox, I used D1's a lot and have just sprayed up a spare set of minilites black.
I agree with Martin, less is more. Personally Silver dos'ent suit a stripe. It also looks good without bumpers.

i had thought about black or dark grey minilites and looking at the state of my bumpers considered no bumpers, have you got any pics of your car ?

Original colour is always best in my opinion, even if its alpina green, stripe or no stripe - not sure yet ;-)
