I wasn't able to go either (driving from Spain) but by all accounts weather was very good and attendance was high.

Think we missed a good one.

Welll the big news was, that the Boat Inn has a new landlord, but thankfully, he is well into real ale with a possitive slant towards the Welsh micro-breweries. I remember little else, except, that I got out of my tent on the sunday morning to find I was surrounded by Cortinas of all types! There were several of the Lotus type and a pretty big autojumble that only catered for Cortinas. I managed to find a new Tudor washer bottle for £3 and a pair of P14 Calipers for a score! So I was doing well. I also couldn't ressist a Wooler remote at a fiver! But there was an LCR member selling 2 works strengthening tubes (one with all the brackets to attatch it to the axle), a pair of coil-over springs for an A-frame car and enough component parts to make up at least 5 pairs of A-frame radius arms (including the jigs). All for the princely sum of £150. I should have bought it all.
The same bloke had a couple of remanufactured nearside staight steering arms too, at £25 each.
Ah yes, it's all comming back to me now, the Old Court Inn had a nice Wye Valley Bitter on, but the ale in the Wye-Not-Inn and the Ferry Inn was not good and accounts for my memory loss.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure that, on Sunday I encountered that all too rare Lesser spotted, Greater breasted Martin Russell with his good lady.
He says that he'll be at the Mk1 o/c National in July.
Hope this gives a good account of the proceedings!

Hi Scott - glad to see you have managed to get on the forum after all of this time.

The bloke with the axle bars and radius arms etc was the LCR National Day. If anyone is interested in the parts I have a contact number for him.
