Anyone thinking of going to Goodwood on Sunday 4 March? The theme for this meeting is 'Tax Exempt' I've pre-booked NAR and should be there if the weather is reasonable. Just run the ole' girl up in the garage and found the thermostat had stuck shut. It's the first time I've seen the temp gauge go off the clock - at least I know it works! Before any smart arse (like Rick) asks, yes - I could see the gauge through all the smoke!!

It wasn't the smoke, its those Mr Magoo glasses that was the problem. also pre booked for Goodwood, Should we all meet up first and arrive en-masse, we might then get a prime spot on the track rather than be herded in to the pens round the back?

Good idea Rick! Where do you suggest we meet and at what time?

I've pre-booked HXD but havn't heard if I'm on the grid yet.

I ran her up in the garage last night, just for a bit of the old "smoke gets in your eyes" treatment. Clears the old tubes out a treat.

Wonder if we will see Neil & Steve there?

Just dried out after Breakfast at Goodwood, three Mk1 LCs 455 YWC, FNK120B, and SOO, and Cockneys Mk2, didnt meet up with any of them, given the conditions not a bad turn out, as for you wimps who didnt get there cars out (you know who you are) poor show. pretty sure ex member Simon Sapstead was there with his NSU, that thing is fast, chased him down the A27 but let him go at 90 driving rain and windscreen wipers lifting not a good combination. plus a slightly nervous passenger from the USA.
