Thursday it is then, 8pm as usual to allow for meals, bedtime and travel. Rick is going to meet us so he can start the weekend in fine style! Can we meet at the pub at Beech Hurst Park, Haywards Heath RH16 4BX? Can't remember the name ( could be The Beech, The Hurst or something pub like) but Steve and I had a secret meet there a while back so at least 2 of us will find it. Anyone welcome, don't be shy.

PS. googled the pub and it's called The Beech Hurst. For those who read this, and so far we have hit 13000 views, a Beech is a tree, Hurst a clearing in the wood and a Park the result of chopping down the trees. Who said I slept through history lessons?

PPS sussex has a long history going back to the Iron Age of doing just that...making Iron. All sorts of marvellous military stuff was made from Sussex Iron. Of course in modern times Sussex Iron means something totally different!

As a novelty may even get there myself.

What is the protocol over buying drink and food?

ps

The history lesson on Sussex is of little interest Geoff as I am a Man of Kent. Now, if you want some info' on Dover Harbour or the Goodwin Sands I could probably write a paragraph or two.
