This is already in the QB, in case you missed it I have put it up here as well. as it says we need a minimum of 10 cars for Saturday and Sunday, we also need to book the stand, so to avoid dissapointment please sign up ASAP.
The provisional dates for the 2012 Silverstone Classic are 20-22 July. The
two for one Early Bird tickets are available as last year, these are the
current prices, all are subject to a booking fee and transaction fee, as yet
we have no information on these fees.
For single day entry the price of the two for one tickets including car entry
is as follows:
Friday 35;
Saturday 50 (Limited Availiabilty for Saturday)
Sunday 45
For two day entry the price of the two for one tickets including car entry is
as follows:
Friday / Saturday 60;
Saturday / Sunday 70
For the full three day entry ticket, the two for one tickets including car entry are as follows:
Friday / Saturday / Sunday 80
One of the best races of the weekend in 2011 was the U2TC race in which
we had three LCR members competing, including our Editor, as well as
19 other Lotus Cortinas. However, to book a club stand we will need confirmed
numbers. To show your support and your LC, we will require a minimum
of 10 cars on the Stand for both Saturday and Sunday (by all means
come for the Friday as well). We will require a deposit of 30 per car to
secure a place on the club stand. This will not be cashed until we have
the minimum number of cars for both days, when we have confirmation
of booking / transation fees etc, and childrens discount and camping
costs. We will send out letters with the final costs. With your cheque for
the deposit (made payable to the Lotus Cortina Register) we need to know
which days you will be attending, if you require on-site camping, and the
number of entrance and camping tickets you require.
If we do not get the minimum number of cars for both days then we will
not book a club stand and all the deposit cheques will be returned. 2011
was a great event for the LCR with lots of interest in the cars, lets hope
we can make 2012 even better.
