Club Stand: Motorsport at the Palace - May 29/30 2011

As per the latest QB , the LCR have been invited back to this event.

We have been allocated a 5 car stand for each day. Entry is free if displaying your car on the stand (free entry includes driver and 1 passenger).
If you are a paid up LCR member and want to attend with your car please add your name and car to the list:
Sunday 29th:
sprint-gt - MK11
Monday 30th:
Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Please be quick as I need to send off the application for ASAP.

Just bringing this back to the top. Is there any interest - a free event and no take up? I need to let the organisers know by the end of April if the LCR will be attending.

Absolutely brilliant event in 2010. As i was on the stand last year i thought i would let others go first this year.
As there are no takers put me down for the Sunday please.

Went last year,and agree with Howard,great weekend. Our editor Geoff,and his brother were racing there L/C and it was good to see the Mk1 doing what it was made for,along with some escorts,minis ect,and a complete lunatic in an early corrvete.

You have to be on the stand by 9:15am latest.
H. PLease PM me your address and confirm if you want 1 or 2 tickets. I habe the tickets here ready to post.

Hopefully all those that request tickets now have them. (Ricky has the Monday Attendee tickets)
I've just had an update from the organisers:
Gates Open at 07:30 and all cars have to be on the stands by 08:45.
The organisers would like cars to stay on that stands until 17:30 ,but if you do have to leave earlier you have to get a marshall to guide you out.
There is prize giving at 18:00 at the winning display will be asked to take their cars to the start line.
I'm going on the Sunday , so see you then.

Sorry Guys, been out of the loop for a while, so not aware of clubs attendance. I was asked to take my MK 1 escort on Monday, so will come and find you all and have a chat.
