PKP is still around and owned by a forum member
who had offered it for sale a little while ago. Not sure if it was sold. LKX is one of two ex police Mk 2's from the Oxfordshire beanheads and both survive. Never heard of ENO before.

I saw from the post that reg number LKX 363H was on the paperwork shown. I owned this car in 1978, I didn't know (until I saw the details) that it was an ex police car. She was a 69 model, white with a green stripe, chrome band between the rear lamps, no zips in the roof, no airbox and she had a strut brace in the engine compartments and larger chrome wheel nuts under the hub caps. She was stolen in 1978 from Sunbury Middx never to be seen ever again, no trace of her. I paid £720 for her and she was lovely, but a pig to start when cold! I look for her all the time, has anyone seen her????

Hi Paul,
You never know, someone might stumble accross it at sometime. I live in Feltham and now keep AJT very well locked away, but back in 1978 I had a 4 door 69 GT in red and used to park in on the roadside in Hanworth where I lived. I found on a regular basis, screwdrivers, hairgrips or nails sticking out of the Yale M69 deadlocks, which were fitted to the front doors. The Ford locks were always opened, but the Yales never defeated on the GT or my Mk 2 L/C PMF. I could not understand why everyone didn't have them fitted to their Fords.
Have you got an L/C now?

Hi Scott thanks for your reply. I am looking for mkII LC seen a couple but not quite what I am looking for and the locks would have been a good idea, maybe I would still have her today if I had them fitted!! Is there a 'for sale' section?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
There is a for sale section in the forum, not too sure whether you have to be a piad up member to view though.
Andy, I wish I was mate, but you've got a point.
I didn't get the GT untill late 79 after passing my test in a 63 mini. The mini had to go quickly, as it was a rotbox!!
