Essex Pub Meet - change of venue possible.

As none of us really drink much at the Barge in Battlesbridge, I am proposing to move the venue of our monthly meets to the A127 Diner on the (you guessed it) A127 at Nevendon between A132 & A130 junctions Southend bound.
For those not familiar, the venue is an American style diner with a motoring theme - good food and surroundings.
Would the Essex contingent (and travelling foreigners) please comment on the proposal below?
NB. depending on what is already going on at the A127 diner on a last Wednesday of each month, we may have to change the timing, but this is to be confirmed next week anyway.

Nearer for me so it would get my vote BUT i am notoriously unreliable and only get to say 1 pub meet per year so maybe i should not count.

Presumably the car park is OK and with outside seating for the summer?

No problem there Pete - you get the car there & I'll get you a parking space and a seat next to it!.

Ok with me, be good to see Pete's car there. I guess the menu is greasy bacon roll and mug of coffee. Looks like other clubs meet there.

Looks like we move it to the A127 Diner - I have had a request from Don to move the night from Wednesday as he can't make it due to previous committments - if we do move it, any preferences anyone?
Thursday would suit me.

The menu is considerably better than that Tim - you are entering the gastronomique zone d'Essex with this one - Greek Mezedes, Steak dinner, Cockney Pie & Mash, Curry and, oh yes, bacon sandwiches par excellence......
Plus, the owner (Mark Homer) is an ex-rodder and has had some classy Ford's in his time.

13 miles from M25. It's about 30 minutes from the Dartford Crossing up the M25 (J29) & down the A127 towards Southend.
