Hi,

Here in Australia the Cortina Mark One Owners Club are organising a get
together. This is the info they have posted on www.fordaustraliaforums.com.

"50th anniversary of the mk1 Cortina

It's a show for all Cortina's in the one spot

can release some info

will be in Victoria

the dates will be

Friday 8th June 2012
Saturday 9th June 2012
Sunday 10th June 2012


Trophy's will be available for each model Cortina through the years

(if you wish to enter judging)

the event will be run by Cortina Mark One Owners club inc. (CMOOC)

all model, all types, mild to wild, from all types of motorsport will be
very welcome"

im actually on the commitee for the organizing this event
website is not yet finished and has a temp page there at the moment

where the focus will be on cortinas

No Peter, its for all Cortinas from Mk 1 to TF (Mk 5), Standard to wild...

it will be the 50th anniversary of the MK1

so that will be the main focus

but judging will include mk2 s

and all models to the last

all small ford etc clubs from around australia will be invited to attend

and run there own judging if the car is another small ford for example

this is time when all the cars should be pulled out of the shed

The cortina MK1 owners club will also be raffling a cortina MK1 with the winner drawn on the Sunday night at the presentation dinner
