There should be, as its the turn of the 60's saloons this year, and if its anything like the last 60's turn (2005) itll be fantastic...(check out the Miller DVD thread)

I understand from the organisers that only pre '66 cars get pride of palce parking etc and anyone in a (classic) car arriving after this date has to make do with the main public car parks. Great news for you Mk1 boys not for us Mk2'ers. Does anyone know more about this and anyways around this?

Nope, they are pretty strict. Especially on this event when there whole aim is to keep anything post 66 away from the track to uphold the illusion. The nearest mk2 LC i've seen on this event was one that was for sale in the grass trade area, but that's not much closer than the public car park if you get there early.
Cheers
Louis
P.S You could try 'bending the truth  ' and say it's a 66 mk2.
Might get away with it...

The '66' rule is because it was the last year the circuit was used for competitive racing. It has only been used for pleasure and the big events like the Revival event over the last 10 years..
Ive been for the last two years and have attended in my MK1, but have seen other classic cars within the members parking which are post '66'
So if you go with a member and they allow you to use their members window sticker, it doesnt matter what your in. Otherwise the classic car park is strictly pre '66'
Hope this helps..
