Wasn't this the car that was trailered to the MK1 OC National at Coombe Abbey about 8 years ago - it had house bricks where the rear outriggers should have been?
Someone paid about £8k for it & was going to do a major resto on it as I remember.

OK thanks for that,
Hopefully if they do all the hard and expensive work and then lose interest I can pick it up for a fair price.
Let me know if you hear any more, is it appropriate to ask the membership secretary to make contact on my behalf?
cheers,
Brendan

I am sure that if the present owner wants to sell the car he will let the LCR know about it.

The trailored car Keith refers to is likely to be ERD222C, which was at the MK 1 O.C. National Rally in 2003.
There is a short article about this car in the November 2003 MK 1 O.C. Newsletter, written by its new owner, Tim Jackson, who intended a restoration.
Today the registration is no longer known at the DVLA site, scrapped?

Did I scan a picture of this car for you about a year ago?
I have an old picture of it with an unusualy set of alloy wheels on it. The car looked in good condition.

You did the picture, for me I fitted those wheels back in the 70's, they were a type of Compomotives.......I still have the green logbook and a load of MOT's for the car which I found recently hence the renewed interest......
