Just curious to know what happed to this car. It was used in a 5 page feature in the June 1993 copy of Popular Classic's mag and looked pristine , and being an E reg makes it quite a rare one. It was for sale by D.J Dean of Ruislip Gardens Middlesex for a wopping £20K. To put this into perspective a concours TR4 was for sale for £7500 and a mint E Type roadster for £20K in the the same mag. I've never seen this car at any shows so has it been just sitting in someones garage for the last 15 years?

I remember seeing this car at Bucklers Hard (Hamps) when Ford were using a load of classic cars to drive Jacques Nasser & their senior management team to and from a management briefing - I had a GT at the time and drooled over this.
It was rebuilt from the ground up using all new parts according to the owner at the time & I am sure it went abroad shortly afterwards.

This car has recently changed hands and the new owner turned up at the West London pubmeet last week in the pouring rain! It's still in amazing condition and apparently has spent the last 15 years in a carcoon, virtually unused.
