We lived in the Portsmouth area on the Southcoast. It wolud be nice to hear if its still on the road or if not if anyone knows when it died! Thanks all for your time.

Cheers Dave, Much appreciated, My Dad always went on about the registration being a special one!! He still has the original pressed pressed metal number plate hanging in the garage!Sounds like it could be dead now then, worth a try though, he would of been dead chuffed if it was still about. Thanks again, Adrian

Thanks again for the last couple of posts, interesting to hear it was still running the revolution wheels back in 84! I suppose it could be hiding somewhere in a barn, you never know!!

Hi Adrian

This car is well and truley alive. I have only just joined this site yesterday and have owned this car for 16 years, for the most part keeping it secret for obvious reasons, infact only two people knew where it was.

Please have a look at the introductions! as I have posted some details and questions about my car, you maybe able to help with some history.

As I said on the intro post the car will never be sold so I think the guy Stu got mixed up with the comunications with a joint third party friend as I don't actually know Stu and my friend who knows Stu did not know where the car was, and at the time of your first post I had been living in Spain from 6th Aug 06 to the 23rd Sept 07.

If we can get in touch maybe we can share some pictures my email address is kevin.mccombie@btinternet.com

The details on your post above from DVLA are correct and the car log book says the colour is white and the chassis plate colour code is white, it has never been black and shows no signs of being black since I purchased it. Maybe it had a colour change to black and then back to white again? however if you read the intro post I put on here yesterday, with the treatment it will shortly have, it will not matter what colour it was or has been. The car did have revolution wheels on it when I bought it, however they where knackered (bashed and rotten), so I sold them years ago within a month of me buying the car. It will either go on the steels, which I have ten of, or minilites which ever takes my fancy when back on the road.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards
Kev

Hi Adrian

Forgot to say the car was never put on the road when I bought it, as I stripped it down within a week of owning it. Becasue the bonnet both doors and boot lid where rotten and un usable. They all had massive air vents in each panel due to the dreaded tin worm, and it would not have passed an MOT.

It was then put in my loft and garage and three other relatives garages until being moved in secret to a lock up where it stayed for about 12 years, came out of hiding for about 3 months to remove the underseal and paint underneath, then back in to hiding until about three months ago and is now back at my house, hense I now don't mind talking about it as it is now more secure.

I will post some pics on here when I learn how to.

Regards
Kev
