Bob Janes Pre Airflow SE

I picked this little snippet up from another forum:

"Bob Janes car was a special equipment pre airflow car, bought by Jim Mckeowan in the 90's for Appendix J racing (just as quick as he was back in the day!!). The car was sold back to an adelaide racer then sold to the UK I believe."

Does anyone know if this car did come back to the UK from Oz? If so can anyone shed any light on whats planned for it - ie future track use , restoration etc

Hi Steve,

Was this the car featured in Classic ford a few years back? White with Orange over the hood and roof. I have the article if you are interested.

HI Andrew , sounds like the same car. Bobs car is the one in my avatar. It also had yellow bands behind the headlight rings , but this detail is hard to pic out in BW photo's.

Could you scan the feature and email it to me? Cheers.

Will do. I have the original'MotorSport' magazine with that photo on the cover. Its a great shot. I'll scan that article also as it talks about the weekends racing between Jane and Moffat in thier LC's Sandown I think..??
