Hi Everybody,

Just to let you all know that i shall be taking Regalia to the national.
This will be a good opportunity to get our own back on the post office and for you to save on P&P.

There's a few things I could do with Julie. Will you be taking all the items normally advertised in the QB?

Any more progress with your car?

I could also do with a sweat shirt / T shirt. It's an opportunity to avoid postage.

I've always fancied an LCR umbrella - do you still do them Julie? Let's hope I don't need to use one at the National day!

Just a bit of an update for you all - we now have up to 27 cars for the Sunday. Those who have already booked their place will obviously take priority but we will be doing everything possible to accommodate everyone on the stand.

My wife will be providing refreshments (from the club tent/marquee) for all those attending on both mornings of the show.

One other thing I thought I should mention - for a bit of added interest and a bit of light entertainment, I had thought about running a motoring related quiz for all those stopping over on Saturday evening. The idea is that we have 10 teams of two, each team contributing £5 towards the cost of £50 worth of alcohol related prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd. We could run this from the club marquee from about 5.00pm, before everyone wants to head to the bar. I thought this might make for a good social event so if any one is interested please let me know. I will only be doing this if there is a firm commitment from members as I obviously don't want to be left out of pocket. Please let me know what you all think.

Regards

Simon

Simon

If you find you are pushed for space on the day I can join 'The Juke' on HLC stand. No problem.

Thanks for the offers Dave and Neil but I would prefer to have both your cars on the club stand, particularly on the Sunday.

If pre-booked is it possible for any updated valuations to be done for insurance?

Mine was last done at Gaydon 3 years ago i think.

I need to draft an article about the LCR for inclusion on the Lotus Festival website. Does anyone who is attending on either the Saturday or Sunday have a decent picture of their car that they could email to me please. I need a picture of a Mk1 and Mk2. My email address is simon954@hotmail.co.uk

Many thanks

Sent one Simon but if you use it (probably you need a standard car pic) please credit RETROFORD with providing it.

Anyone north of the river want to meet up and travel in convoy for the last few miles?
I'll be meeting up with Colin, Keith & Don on the north side of the Dartford crossing possibly at the Thurrock services, time TBA
