As far as I'm concerned she'd be very welcome. Maybe you'll start a trend!

Hi Dave,
Just to say very much enjoyed last night, something very thereaputic to discuss man cave's and cars with like minded souls over a DC on ice.
Respect to Darryl (only lotus driven) who drove from Dymchrch to the meet in his daily driver mk2 s1 car.
Look forward to next one I believe we are doing 3rd Tuesday of the month from now on?
cheers to all that attended hope to see you soon.........

Well. The inaugural pub meet for Kentish members went ahead last night with a very respectable six members present: Mervyn (old racer), Brendan (L2man), Neil (Neilsjuke), David (Healeydavid), Duncan from Dymchurch (68s1)? & my good self (interloper from Sussex).
By eight thirtyish we were in full swing & the next thing I knew it was eleven o'clock & time to go home, so a big thank you for turning up chaps & making it such an enjoyable evening. If I had to pick a highlight it would have to be Brendan's account of his heroic single handed (no pun intended Brendan) attempt to extinquish his flaming Webers. He'll be dining out on that one for years.
Only non starter was H Cortina. Hope everything's ok & that we'll see you next time.
We've set a regular date for the third Tuesday of each month so our next meet will be Tuesday 19th March. Look forward to seeing you all again.

Good to meet you all yesterday, its always nice to put a face to a name and I echo Brendans praise for Darrens effort in driving his Mk2 last night.
And before anyone asks there were not 3 people from Dymchurch, (Darryl, Duncan and Darren) they all were the same person, just some confusion over names, (its an age thing).

Sorry to cause all the confusion with names. Are we settled on Darren? And is Darren 68s1 on the forum?
Respect from me also for getting such use from the car & for restoring to such a high standard on just £6000. It certainly looked very nice.
